Numerical Simulation for Cylindrical Electrostatic Precipitator: Effect of the Applied Voltage

Coaxial (wire-cylinder) electrodes arrangements are widely used for electrostatic deposition of dust particles in flue gases, when a high voltage is applied to immersed air and provide strongly non-uniform electric field. The efficiency filters mainly depends on the value distribution In this work, two-dimensional computer simulation was constructed study effect different voltages (20, 22, 25, 26, 28, 30 kV) inner electrode their precipitator. Finite Element Method (FEM) COMSOL Multiphysics software were simulate cross section wire cylinder. results showed that velocity liquid charge accumulation increased with increase also precipitator reached 100% an kV.
